ESSENTIAL YOGA TEACHER – PERSONAL TRAINING SPECIALIST – ACTIVE AGING CERTIFICATE: Karine’s path is a meandering one that has taken her many places before eventually leading her to personal training. Her first contact with exercise came later in life, but the benefits of it quickly turned fitness into a passion. In personal training, she has found a career that connects physical and intellectual work and caters to her thirst for knowledge, creativity, analytical mind and gives her the privilege to be in contact with and help many people. Running is her main love, having completed one 1⁄2 and 2 full marathons, with yoga coming in at a close second. She studied the Iyengar system of yoga which focuses on alignment, a philosophy in complete agreement with the THT system she now works with. Karine believes in the innate ability everyone must reach their goals and that hard work, balance and mindfulness are intricate to a healthy lifestyle. You will get safe, fun, creative workouts customized to your own needs, so you can get to where you want to be.
